It seems like magazines are really going for it this September and bringing out the best covers they could, making it a real competition. Vogue totally left us breathless by featuring Beyoncé, particularly since she became the first black female artist to cover the iconic issue. Constantly making history and looking incredible while she’s at it, Queen Bey stunned, as usual.
Beyoncé’s Exact Look:
The 33-year-old superstar was photographed by Mario Testino and praised by many industry professionals in the cover story:
“The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality,” Marc Jacobs says about Bey.
“She’s the whole package: primal, rare, delicate, beautiful, and powerful,” Stella McCartney says. “Her appeal crosses art forms, genders, and generations.”
“There is a magnetic presence to her,” Riccardo Tisci adds.
Wearing a Marc Jacobs floral dress on the cover and continuing her “global domination”, Beyoncé is out of this world with her wet mermaid-y tresses and natural look. What first caught our attention were her flawless brows: filled in to perfection, with all the hairs in place. In order to achieve this level of “fleek”, one must resort to the good old Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wizz Mechanical Brow Pencil ($21, Shop.Nordstrom.com), which will totally transform your brows (don’t forget to use the spoolie on the other end afterwards to both blend in the color seamlessly and comb the hairs neatly).
Get Beyoncé’s Gorgeous Brows:
As our queen is wearing minimal to no makeup for this photoshoot, a few products are required for this look. For the base, Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer ($43, NeimanMarcus.com) is all you need to get that healthy looking skin, while still getting a bit of coverage.
Next, a lip balm would finish everything off; we love the Burt’s Bees Vanilla Bean Moisturizing Lip Balm ($3.29, SmallFlower.com) – this look is all about hydration and going au naturel (which we don’t really see as often these days).
There you go, your own Beyoncé look revealed. What do you think about the cover?
