As all of you with sensitive skin are, I’m always hesitant to try a new skin care product. I always test it out before committing to it. I worry about breakouts or hives with everything. Facial oil, is the scariest product to try ! Although they rarely cause any serious allergic reactions, I usually always end up with one or two break outs, and it’s not worth it to me.

Recently, I’ve been on a mission to find a beauty oil that I could use to get the benefits into my skin, without the breakouts.

So when I was offered to try Pure Marula Facial Oil, ($58-$78, Marula.com) I was excited…(and  a little nervous.)

The product I received was a roller ball full of the oil.

I tried using the oil every night for over two weeks, and didn’t get one breakout! I was pleasantly surprised. I have pretty normal skin, so it worked well for me. However, if your skin is oily, you may not like it. As far as I know there is no “light” option, but you could still make it work, as long as you only used it at night. It’s very moisturizing.

Normal and dry skin could use this oil either in the morning or at night, or even both. I usually keep oil for night time use, but I used it in the morning, and applied my makeup over it and had no problems!

I definitely think this beauty oil is worth trying out, there are so many benefits that come from facial oil, and this is a really pure one to use!

The only thing I wasn’t super crazy about, is the fact that it comes in a roller ball. I personally wouldn’t buy the travel option. When you’re using the roller ball to apply it, it touches your face directly with every application. Although you should only be applying  oil on clean skin, I just don’t love that and it seems a little unsanitary to me.

Everything else about the facial oil was great though. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Have you tried this product at all?
