Miley Cyrus makes a hell of a comeback by teaming up (again) with mega beauty brand, MAC Cosmetics, for their Viva Glam line, with proceeds from their red products going to the MAC AIDS Fund. Taking to her Instagram account, the Wrecking Ball singer posted a couple of teaser pictures from the campaign with the caption: “Help to end AIDS with my new @MACcosmetic #VIVAGLAM lipstick available online in North America on 9/8”.
Speaking to Refinery29 in January, the 22-year-old star discussed why she partnered up with MAC for the Viva Glam collaboration.
I want to end the stereotype and the stigma that goes along with people who are affected by AIDS,” she said. “I think it’s telling my fans exactly what it is, and what we’re trying to do to cure it, how they can prevent it, and starting the conversation. For some of my fans who don’t know about safety in sex, and what the protocols are, I want to be the one to educate them.
While she proved her bombshell status once again with this campaign, we are incredibly proud of her making a change in the world!
Resembling Yolandi Visser from Die Antwoord with that long, blonde hair and short bangs, Miley is a total babe, sporting a deep sweetheart neckline cropped top and high-wasted shorts. Topping everything off is the signature red lippie from MAC, which couldn’t look any better.
Her glowing complexion reminds us of the strobing trend that’s going around: meaning lots and lots of highlighter.
