Is your skin looking a bit dull now that it’s coming closer to winter? Illuminate skin with Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation ($16.11, Asos).
Blusher, bronzer and other products seem to sit nicely on top of the foundation, making it great to work with.
This well-loved drugstore foundation has taken it’s time to make it into my collection, possibly because of the cheap price tag, I’d never thought it would be as good as it is. The foundation claims to have an anti-fatigue effect and give a radiant glow; both which I would strongly agree to. On those days when your skin is looking a bit flat and a bit dull, this will brighten you up to make you look like you’ve had a good night’s sleep.
The lasting power is what is most surprising about Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation ($16.11, Asos). Even with oily skin, it lasts all day on the skin, and due to its moisturising properties, still feels comfortable by the end of the day. Blusher, bronzer and other products seem to sit nicely on top of the foundation, making it great to work with.
Finally, it comes with a pump, which means you can control how much product you use; something which often doesn’t come with high end foundations without having to purchase separately. This has been the best purse-friendly foundation I’ve found in a long time!
