Ladies, I don’t know about you but I have an army of dry patches that terrorizes my skin. What sucks more is that I don’t always have the energy to exfoliate, hydrate, moisturize, and layer-up. Especially after a looooong, hard day at work. Can’t a girl just slather something on and hydrate without all the extra steps? Enter Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream.
I was lucky enough to sample the smoothie-licious Lightly Whipped Buttercream before its debut. Pretty exciting considering my skin needed a “pick-me-upper.”
I’m no scientist here, but i think all the omegas (3 & 6), fatty acids and vitamins in Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream are giving my skin that silky, luxurious and—dare I say—sexy texture that I have always wanted. Okay, okay totally not getting carried away here (he,he).
The rich and creamy formula of Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream produces a softening lather that combats dryness, without feeling too oily. Moreover, I love that it has no greasy aftermath.
What it smells like:
Cake! Yep, just like it. It’s a mixture of chocolate and cream—almost good enough to eat! The scent lingers for a while and follows you everywhere you go—which is good, for most of us. My mother would probably opt for something with no scent, but that’s her, she hates perfume! Who hates perfume, my mom, that’s who.
What makes it so good?
It slaps dehydration like nobody’s business. Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream contains almond and coconut oil (that smooths and softens), Shea Butter (that nourishes and conditions) and Cocoa Butter (for silky hydration).
The Verdict: Highly effective in providing the much needed hydration, without making you feel like a greaseball. I give it a two thumbs up. Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream will be available this month, at Sephora.FROM THE WEB:
