I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the busiest bee in the hive this summer, but that means that I have way more time to do two important things: (1) Put to use all of my pseudo-professional knowledge I learned from hours of Food Network, and (2) play with my makeup.
Church time! I don’t want to overdo the makeup since that’s our only main event today (other than the traditional post-church bagel at the Bakehouse, but you can follow my Instagram if you want to know more about my eating habits/obsessions), so I kept the usual base: my trusty L’Oreal Paris True Match Gentle Mineral Makeup, Soft Ivory ($13.59, Drugstore); Rimmel Natural Bronzer, Sun Bronze ($3.99, Drugstore) for some contouring; beautiful Au Naturale Pixie Blusher ($24, Au Naturale); and my newest obsession, aka Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade, Chocolate ($18, Ulta). Other than some Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, Blackest Black ($6.99, Target), I just added a pop of my go-to red lipstick, Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick, Cherries in the Snow ($7.99, Drugstore). It goes perfectly with my basic black jumpsuit and obnoxious mirrored aviators. Also, quick shoutout to my sister in the backseat.
